Do you need to improve posture, strengthen your core or increase bone density? Then this class is for you!
The focus of this class is resistance training using free weights, medicine balls, kettle bells, body bars, weighted vests and the vibration platforms to increase muscle and bone density.
Geared towards 40-65 year olds who want to slow down the aging process and manage weight by increasing muscle and functional strength, this is a registered program for best results.

This challenging class combines intervals of cardio with super-setting of strength exercises to keep up the intensity. The best of bootcamp, sport conditioning and circuit training principles are used to keep this class interesting. Great class to get you in shape for skiing and all your winter activities.
Mornings: Monday & Thursday - 6-7 am.
Evenings: Monday & Wednesday - 6-7 pm.

OsteoFit for Life
Instructor - Heather Stanton
For people with osteoporosis and osteopenia and 3rd Age members who require a safe full body workout. This class begins in a sitting evironment and progresses to the Keiser funtional trainer and includes a balance component. Oh yes, and there is socializing too!
Monday & Wednesday - 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
Tuesday & Thursday - 11:00 - 12:00 noon

This is a registered class offered twice a week for 6 weeks. Focusing on improving strength, posture, balance and agility, this is a slow approach for beginners that centers around education of the participants while learning the exercises. Designed for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia, or anyone requiring a safe full-body program and ready to discover the benefits of seated exercise.
All ProActive and ProSport instructors are BCRPA or Twist Certified
